Do you have experience in transport management planning and are looking for a new challenge? Then this could be the role for you!

We are looking for a transport manager for future assignments in Gothenburg who will work independently to plan, book, and optimize road transport.

In the role of transport manager, your responsibilities will include:

Planning of transports.
Monitoring of transports and handling and resolving any deviations.
Improvement work to optimize load factors, transport routes, and create synergies in transport.
Booking and follow-up of goods to ensure delivery precision.
Financial follow-up and responsibility for results within your own traffic.
Daily contact and collaboration with customers, carriers, suppliers, and drivers.
Purchasing and administration of external capacity as needed.
Handling of administration and preparation of documentation for invoicing.

Scope: Full-time
Location: Gothenburg

In the event of employment, you may initially be employed by Posti and rented out to the customer with the goal of eventually becoming directly employed by the customer. There is also the possibility of direct recruitment.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who has worked for a few years with transport planning within trailer traffic and has good knowledge of driving and resting times. You are communicative, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are passionate about delivering high quality to the customer. The role requires the ability to build and maintain good relationships, work independently with freedom under responsibility, and collaborate selflessly in a team.

To be considered for the position, you need:

Experience in traffic management.
Very good geographical knowledge.
Fluent Swedish and English in both speech and writing.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience with hazardous goods or current ADR training
Experience from various modes of transport (road, rail, air, and sea)
Experience with the system Mobilast or Alystra
